Stackwave R is a ring born from the same structure as Stackwave.
The architectural stillness and sense of order embedded within Stackwave
have been translated into a form that gently envelops the finger.
Thanks to the stability of its structure and its precisely calibrated proportions,
the ring settles on the finger with remarkable quietness and ease,
feeling both natural and composed in wear.
Due to the structural characteristics of the original Oncupaime zipper,
the perceived fit subtly changes depending on the orientation in which the ring is worn.
For this reason, we recommend consulting the size guide;
however, this same quality allows a single ring
to offer the sensation of two different sizes,
and in some cases, to be worn on different fingers.
Though its appearance suggests a bold volume,
Stackwave R possesses a delicacy and elegance
that far exceed what its thickness might imply.
This balance is made possible by
the interconnection of waves,
the rhythm embedded within the structure,
and the intentionally preserved negative space.

About the Wave Series
The Wave Series reimagines an original zipper—
originally designed for garments—
as jewelry, within the narrative world of Oncupaime.
Distortion, fluctuation, and space
are introduced to what was meant to be straight.
This is not a destruction of structure,
but a quiet bending of convention itself.
By applying wave, the YKK zipper begins to curve
as if drawn toward concepts and stories,
transforming into a presence that stands
at the boundary between function and symbol.
Supple forms,
restrained curves,
a presence that is modest yet intentional.
Through its resolution within Box Oncupaime,
the zipper is granted a new role.
It ripples quietly across the skin,
becoming a wave that overlaps
with the wearer’s time and breath.

The main components are YKK zinc die-cast zippers,
with additional parts made from nickel-containing metals.

Care Instructions
After use, gently wipe away perspiration and oils
with a soft, dry cloth,
and allow the piece to dry thoroughly.
If necessary, lightly dampen a cloth to remove dirt,
then carefully dry with a clean, dry cloth to ensure no moisture remains.
Avoid abrasive materials such as polishing cloths with abrasives or steel wool,
as they may cause scratches or damage to the surface.
Store in a dry, well-ventilated place,
away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
For long-term storage, placing the item in a zippered bag or pouch
