Rather than “swaying,” it quietly changes its expression as it responds to your breath and posture.

The clasp position is free.

Fasten it tight and it becomes like a choker; let it hang longer and it becomes like a long necklace.

Move it to your wrist and it becomes a bracelet—wrap it many times and wear it in whatever rhythm you like.

About the Wave Series

The Wave series is a collection that reconstructs Oncupaime’s worldview by reimagining an original zipper—originally designed for garments—as jewelry.

To a zipper, which should be straight, we give distortion, fluctuation, and blank space.

This is not the destruction of structure, but an act of gently bending common sense itself.

By adding Wave, a YKK zipper is bent as if drawn toward concepts and stories, transforming into a presence that stands on the boundary between function and symbol.

A supple form, restrained curves, and a quiet yet intentional stance.

By finding its balance within a place called Box Oncupaime, the zipper was given a new role.

It is a “wave” that ripples softly on the skin, overlapping with the wearer’s time and breath.

The Wave series is a form created to remain in the space between reality and fantasy.

Materials

Made primarily with a YKK zipper crafted in zinc die-cast, with other parts made of metal containing nickel.

Care Instructions

After use, gently wipe away sweat and skin oils with a soft, dry cloth, and let it dry as soon as possible.

If dirt is a concern, lightly dampen a cloth to wipe it off, then be sure to dry-wipe carefully with a dry cloth so no moisture remains.

Please avoid abrasive cloths containing polishing agents and abrasives such as steel wool, as they may cause scratches or peeling of the coating.

We recommend storing the item in a well-ventilated, dry place away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.

If you will not be using the item for an extended period, storing it in a zip bag or pouch with a desiccant can reduce the risk of discoloration and corrosion.

Also note that cosmetics containing alcohol or oils—such as perfume, hair spray, and sunscreen—may affect metal parts and joints. Please avoid direct contact.

This product uses a zinc die-cast YKK zipper and metals that contain nickel in some parts.
